A real drawing review revealed the problem
In one anonymized quality-control review, MySmartPlans examined 479 detected drawing references:
- 391 references resolved correctly
- 88 references pointed to missing or unissued sheets
- 18.4% of detected references were unresolved
- 21 distinct target sheets were missing
- 16 source pages were affected
This does not mean 18.4% of the entire project was incomplete. It means the governed review identified a measurable information gap early—before every unresolved reference could become someone’s assumption.
