On the Fresno Terminal Expansion Design-Build project, MySmartPlans End-of-Day (EOD) Reporting creates a clear daily account of the information entering the project record. The report does more than say that information was added. It shows what was received, where it was organized and how it became part of the owner’s governed record.

A Verified Daily Record

The MySmartPlans Daily Activity Report dated July 30, 2026 documented activity from July 29. Seven project files were uploaded and organized across seven designated vaults. The records included contractor reports, electrical documentation, traffic-marking information, finishes documentation, field notes, project photographs and the Fresno Daily Log.

A corresponding Daily Log event was also created on the project calendar. No new team members were added that day. That detail matters: the report records activity and inactivity, creating a transparent account of what changed—and what did not.

The Old Way Relied on What Someone Said

In the traditional construction technology stack, someone can say, “I uploaded it,” “I sent it,” or “I added the information.” The owner may not know whether the correct record was received, whether it was complete, where it was filed or whether anyone can retrieve it when a decision must be made.

A file sitting somewhere in a platform is not the same as a governed project record.
